Dancing Girl La Silla

Dancing Girl La Silla has an excellent temperament, a very clean jump and a generous heart. A real trier, she did it carefully and with style.

Dancing Girl La Silla was well known as an outstanding jumper throughout her career in international jumping arenas. At the tender age of seven years she competed in the Grand Prix of Aachen, with an extraordinary four faults. She continued her career with HollandÕs Jan Tops, putting in top performances on the toughest courses across Europe.

Dancing Girl La Silla combines beauty and power with exceptional technique, as to be expected from a daughter of the legendary
Almé Z, currently ranked number one in the world as a sire of dams.

Almé Z is already a legend and transmits his outstanding qualities to his offspring, for example Galoubet A, Jalisco B, Alcamera La Silla and Animo; grandchildren, Ratina Z, Romantico La Silla and Quidam de Revel; and great grandchildren, Tlaloc La Silla.

Her maternal line is well-known in jumping circles. Her grandam Funktion had five foals of which two were international horses, Diadem and Dakota Z {Domaenendame}.

Dakota Z, ridden by Paul Schockemohle, had only two foals, both international horses, Dancing Girl La Silla and Dagobert Z, who also competed internationally with Leon Melchior.

Since retiring to the La Silla breeding farm, she has proven to be a prolific broodmare.
